Wahlund Construction successfully completed the UIR/SS project, a comprehensive endeavor funded by the state that encompassed eight distinct components. This multifaceted project involved the complete replacement of the Wastewater Treatment Plant, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing environmental risks. Additionally, two new water storage tanks were installed, improving the water supply infrastructure. The project also featured the replacement of key campus utilities and the construction of a new 12KV infrastructure building. Wahlund Construction played a pivotal role in the consolidation of the College's IT systems, the upgrade of the campus cabling system, and the enhancement of building fire alarm systems. Furthermore, the company contributed to the improvement of the campus energy management system, enabling greater environmental control, and the renovation of the Applied Technology Building, encompassing ADA compliance, HVAC upgrades, door and lock enhancements, and roof improvements. This comprehensive project underscores Wahlund Construction's expertise in handling diverse and complex construction initiatives with precision and efficiency.
